Summary: This ideal candidate for this position will have experience in operating CNC mills, interpreting technical drawings, and maintaining high standards of quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Status: Non-exempt (hourly)
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, or tend CNC machines for metal or plastic materials
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions
- Perform tools changes, offsets, and minor program edits as needed.
- Inspect parts using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Maintain accurate production records and ensure traceability
- Perform routine machine maintenance and report any issues to management
- Collaborate with engineering to resolve production challenges
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area
- Understanding of additional operations such as deburring
- Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma (or equivalent) or greater
- Prior CNC operator experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with G-code and CNC programming basics
- HAAS experience is a plus
- SolidWorks knowledge/experience is a plus
- Proficiency in reading mechanical drawings and using measurement tools
- Keen attention to detail
- Self-motivated

The physical activities described are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential job functions.
- Ability to frequently lift or carry 20 – 50 pounds.
- This position may require working overtime, holidays and weekends when job/business needs demand.
