Based in Western Cape or Gauteng, Â (please scroll down for exact areas) The Cleaner is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of designated areas to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for employees, visitors, and clients. This role involves performing various cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing, in accordance with established protocols and standards Dutes & Responsibilities General Cleaning
Duties
:
Floors:
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and buff floors in all designated areas, including offices, corridors, restrooms, and common areas. Surfaces:
Dust and wipe down surfaces such as desks, tables, countertops, and shelves to maintain a clean and organized environment. Windows & Glass:
Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces to ensure they are free from smudges and streaks. Restroom Maintenance:
Sanitation:
Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and urinals, to ensure high hygiene standards. Stocking:
Refill restrooms with necessary supplies, such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels, as needed. Inspection:
Monitor and maintain restroom cleanliness and address any issues promptly. Waste Management:
Trash Removal:
Empty trash bins and recycling containers throughout the facility and ensure proper disposal of waste. Recycling:
Sort and dispose of recyclable materials according to company policies and local regulations. Cleaning Equipment and Supplies:
Maintenance:
Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and scrubbers in good working condition. Inventory:
Monitor and report on the inventory of cleaning supplies, and request replacements or additional items as needed. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Â Grade 12 High School
education
  1 year of cleaning experience is preferred, but not essential  Must be a female  Must be able to speak English or Afrikaans  Must be able to reliably commute to and from work Must reside in either or close to these areas Western Cape:
Strand, Somerset-West, Gordon’s Bay or Stellenbosch  OR Gauteng (Johannesburg):
