Role Description
Are you a driven individual, with a passion for property and looking to join a dynamic asset management team?
We are looking for a Centre Manager at Sam Ntuli Mall who will be responsible for the oversight of all operational aspects of the shopping centre including the management of service providers and adherence to protocols, liaison with head office in relation to tenants, tenant installations and administration.
Our preferred candidate appreciates teamwork, has a hands-on approach and embraces professional management. The candidate should have excellent communication and administrative skills, with the utmost attention to detail, and be committed to client focused service, best of breed contractor procurement and prudent expense management.
This position will report to the Regional Operations Manager.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Daily Reporting: Checklist completion and Action List updates
Tenants and Leasing: Compliance with lease agreement, safety protocols and liaison for Head Office
Billing, Rent Collection and Arrears Management
Understand and apply budgets
Maintenance of plant and equipment
Security and Safety
Cleaning, Gardening, Pest Control and Other Contracts
Refuse Collection and Disposal
Utility Management
SRI Initiatives, Marketing, Media and Promotions
House Rules and Administration
Manage relationships between all stakeholders
Candidate Requirements
Practical and relevant work experience must be demonstrated in the candidate’s CV.
Contactable references are essential.
The candidate must have excellent English language skills (speak, read, write).
Zulu/Sotho/ Tswana is advantageous.
The candidate must have attention to detail, be able to work in a team, adhere to company processes and take initiative when necessary.
The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years’ property management, or similar, experience.
MS Outlook essential. The candidate must be able to manage their email well and have a good grasp of email and telephone etiquette.
Must be comfortable with online reporting systems.
Well-groomed, neat, flexible, reliable and organised.
