About the Role:
I & B Transportation Inc is a growing FedEx Linehaul Contractor seeking a dependable, safety-focused professional with Class A CDL driver for our overnight regional operation to join our team in Newville, PA. This is an exciting opportunity to haul FedEx doubles on a linehaul route while enjoying the benefit of coming home every day. The Schedule
This is an overnight driving position.
Drivers typically begin between approximately 7:00 PM and 11:00 PM and operate regional FedEx linehaul routes.
Drivers return home after completing their assigned work.
What You’ll Do
As an I & B Transportation Linehaul Driver, you will:
- Operate Class A tractor-trailer combinations, including doubles
- Transport FedEx freight between regional terminals
- Complete assigned runs and turns safely and efficiently
- Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate DOT and electronic logs
- Follow FedEx, DOT, and I & B Transportation safety requirements
- Maintain professional communication with dispatch and management
- Properly secure and return company equipment after each shift
- Maintain professional appearance and wear required company uniform and safety equipment while on duty
Minimum Requirements

- Valid Class A CDL
- Doubles/Triples Endorsement REQUIRED
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable Class A tractor-trailer experience
- Doubles experience not required (company training provided)
- Overnight driving experience preferred
- Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- Must meet all applicable DOT and FedEx qualification requirements
- Must successfully complete required background screening and drug testing
- Must be able to safely perform the essential duties of the position
- Must be dependable and available for the required overnight schedule
Doubles Endorsement Is Required
Applicants who do not currently possess the required endorsement should not apply unless they can obtain it before beginning the position.
