Blissful Meadows Golf Club is looking for a dependable, experienced, hands-on Building Maintenance Technician to help maintain our buildings.
We are looking for someone who is a true jack-of-all-trades — someone who takes pride in keeping things working properly, notices when something needs attention, and is comfortable handling a wide variety of general repairs and maintenance projects both indoors and outdoors.
Responsibilities may include:
- Following and completing a regular preventative maintenance schedule
- General building repairs and upkeep
- Basic carpentry and woodworking repairs
- Minor plumbing repairs
- Minor electrical repairs, such as replacing fixtures, switches or outlets when appropriate
- Door, lock, hardware and window repairs
- Painting, patching and touch-up work
- Repairing furniture, shelving, railings and other building components
- Exterior building and property maintenance
- Troubleshooting everyday maintenance problems as they arise
- Identifying potential problems before they become larger repairs
- Assisting with seasonal maintenance and miscellaneous projects throughout the property
- Coordinating with management when a repair requires a licensed contractor or outside service
We are looking for someone who:
- Has broad hands-on maintenance, construction, facilities or repair experience
- Is comfortable working independently and managing a routine maintenance schedule
- Can look at a problem, figure out what needs to be done and get it taken care of
- Is dependable, organized and takes pride in their work
- Has their own basic knowledge of tools and proper repair techniques
- Understands the difference between a repair they can safely handle and one that should be referred to a licensed professional
- Is willing to work both indoors and outdoors in a variety of areas throughout the property
This is a great position for someone with years of practical experience who enjoys variety and would rather tackle different projects each day than do the same thing over and over.
Starting pay is $20–$23 per hour depending on experience plus golf privileges and food and merchandise discounts.
