Full Job Description
We are seeking highly disciplined and vigilant Security Guards to join our airport security team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the safety and security of our premises, staff, and products in line with industry regulations and hygiene protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
· Ensure the safety and security of passengers, staff, and airport property
· Perform access control duties, screening, and surveillance operations
· Conduct patrols and respond to security incidents in a timely manner
· Enforce airport security protocols in accordance with SACAA and AVSEC regulations
· Liaise with law enforcement and airport personnel as needed
· Monitor and authorize entry and exit of personnel and visitors
· Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
· Report suspicious activity, safety hazards, and incidents
· Enforce rules and regulations on the premises to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access
· Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation
Minimum Requirements:
· Valid SACAA and AVSEC Certification
· Grade 12 / Matric Certificate (Mandatory)
· Registered with PSIRA (minimum Grade B or higher, mandatory)
· Basic First Aid Training and Fire Fighting training
· Minimum 2 year of experience in a security role (aviation experience preferred)
· Physically fit and able to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
· Excellent communication and observation skills
· No criminal record
· Fluent in English and 1 other language
Advantages:
· Prior aviation screening experience in aviation security or high-risk environments
· Knowledge of airport emergency procedures
· Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills

· Customer Service orientation
· Basic computer literacy would be an advantage
