Auto painters, also known as auto paint technicians or vehicle painters, prepare and paint vehicles to create a professional finish. Their work can include: Preparing surfaces: Removing rust, grease, and dirt, and masking areas that shouldn’t be painted Repairing: Filling dents and cavities with putty to smooth out surfaces Mixing colors: Matching and mixing paints to achieve the desired color and consistency Applying paint: Using spray guns or brushes to apply paints, primers, enamels, polyurethane, and epoxy Creating designs: Applying custom designs, signs, or vinyl lettering

Pay: $60,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
