Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanic to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation of industrial equipment and machinery within a manufacturing environment. Your expertise in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining complex mechanical and electrical systems will be vital to maintaining continuous production flow. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
- Utilize schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately and implement effective solutions.
- Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and troubleshoot electrical systems and controls.
- Operate precision measuring instruments to ensure equipment meets specifications and safety standards.
- Troubleshoot complex machinery problems involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs), HVAC/R systems, scissor lifts, and industrial automation components.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Support equipment repair projects by welding (stick welding), replacing hydraulic hoses, or repairing pneumatic systems as needed.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to analyze system failures and implement long-term fixes that enhance reliability.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols during all maintenance activities and promote a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working in a manufacturing facility or industrial setting with strong mechanical knowledge.
- Hands-on experience with industrial electrician tasks including electrical troubleshooting, blueprint reading, and electrical maintenance.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management and maintenance tracking.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and schematics reading.
- Skilled in welding techniques including stick welding; ability to perform equipment repairs involving metal fabrication.
- Knowledge of HVAC/R systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and troubleshooting pneumatic systems.
- Ability to interpret technical schematics and electrical blueprints accurately.
- Excellent analysis skills combined with customer service orientation to address operational issues efficiently.
- Strong communication skills in English for clear documentation and team collaboration.
- Industrial mechanic experience or equivalent technical training is highly desirable.

Pay: $15.00 – $40.00 per hour
