Job Overview
Apex Appliance Service Inc. is seeking a skilled and experienced Appliance Repair Technician to join our team in San Diego County, CA. We are looking for self-starters who are motivated by the potential to earn an income in a commission-based job with a minimum base. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in appliance repair, as well as a sales-oriented mindset. The Appliance Repair Technician will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support, diagnosing and repairing various types of appliances.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair various types of appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and dishwashers.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients, ensuring their satisfaction with our services.
- Develop a deep understanding of our products and services to generate sales leads and grow our customer base
- Provide estimates for labor, parts, and other materials needed to complete installations and repairs after a job estimate is approved and paid.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and provide timely reports to management.
- Manage inventory and stock levels to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Communicate clearly with customers about repair processes, timelines, and maintenance tips to enhance their experience.
- Interact positively with customers and receive payments for services rendered.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification in appliance repair or equivalent experience.
- Strong technical and mechanical skills.
- Ability to diagnose and repair various types of appliances.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to generate leads and grow the customer base.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must pass a background and drug test.
- Proficiency in using MS Office, Google Docs, iPad, and a smart cell phone.
