ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER: FACULTY (GRADE 12)

DEANS OFFICE

FACULTY OF ARTS AND HUMANITIES

To provide administrative support to the Faculty Office in respect of all Faculty administrative processes, in order to ensure alignment and compliance with central administrative systems and procedures; and to provide a professional support service to academics, students and staff.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key responsibility areas:

Academic Administration

Marks Administration

Enquiry Management

Committee Administration

Financial Administration

Human Resources

Marketing and Recruitment

Events Management

Meeting Administration

Reports

General Administration

Minimum Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12

Minimum of 3 years’ administrative experience, preferably in academic administration.

Preferred Requirements Of The Post

An accredited post-matric qualification

Administrative experience in a Higher Education environment is preferred

Proficiency in computer programmes/software packages e.g. Word; Excel / MS Office Suites / PowerPoint
