General
A leading company in mobile asset management requires an Accountant at their Stellenbosch office on a hybrid model. This position will be focusing on the financial accounting section of the Finance Department but will also provide support to the other areas where needed.
Core Responsibilities
The successful candidate who reports to the Financial Manager, will be responsible for:
Daily and monthly general ledger review and ad hoc journal processing
Review creditor batches and payments
Allocation and assisting in coding of invoices
Fixed asset register review and maintenance
Debtors Masterfile record maintenance
Assisting with balance sheet reconciliations (month end and continued)
Assist in ensuring compliance of internal and external financial controls
Completion of various statutory returns (SARS and SARB)
Daily/Monthly Cash management
Petty Cash Management – Reconciliation and management
Assistance with month end stock takes
Assist with internal and external audits
Ad hoc duties as required by Financial Manager
The successful candidate should:
Excellentcommunication skills

Strong analytical and numerical skills
Work well in a team player or without supervision
Ability to perform under pressure
Skills, Experience and Qualification
Must have a
B.Com Degree in Accounting qualification.
Min 5 years post graduate experience in a similar position.
SAIPA qualified will be advantageous
Must be computer literate.
High proficiency in MS Excel.
Experience in Microsoft AX will be advantageous.
