We are currently building our network of Financial Accountants, Management Accountants, and future Financial Managers for 2027 remote and onsite opportunities with established companies, finance teams, and professional services firms across Europe.

Role Summary

We are seeking finance professionals who are completing their articles, recently qualified, or already working in accounting and finance roles, and who are ready to move into broader commercial, reporting, and financial management environments.

Successful candidates will join our talent network for opportunities with European clients requiring strong accounting fundamentals, good financial reporting ability, commercial awareness, and the ability to support reliable finance operations.

Assignments may be remote from South Africa or onsite internationally, depending on client requirements and candidate suitability.

Key Responsibilities

Typical responsibilities may include:

Preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports

Assisting with month-end and year-end close processes

Preparing reconciliations, journals, accruals, and supporting schedules

Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

Preparing financial statements and internal reporting packs

Managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger processes where required

Assisting with cash flow reporting and working capital management

Supporting tax, VAT, payroll, and statutory reporting processes

Liaising with auditors, clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders

Improving finance processes, controls, and reporting accuracy

Supporting senior finance leaders with analysis and decision-making

Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies

Required Qualifications & Experience

Currently completing SAICA, CIMA, or SAIPA articles/training, or

Recently qualified CA(SA), CIMA, SAIPA, AGA(SA), or equivalent finance professional, or

Relevant accounting degree with strong practical finance experience

Approximately 3–5 years of relevant accounting, finance, audit, or commercial finance experience

Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, and accounting principles

Exposure to management accounts, budgets, forecasts, and reporting packs advantageous

Sound understanding of IFRS, IFRS for SMEs, or relevant reporting frameworks

Strong Microsoft Excel skills

Experience with accounting systems such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, Pastel, NetSuite, SAP, or similar advantageous

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to manage deadlines, priorities, and recurring finance cycles independently
