Junior Accountant
Location:Cape Town, southern suburbs
Salary:R 300 000 – R 360 000 per annum
Role Overview:
As a Junior Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the finance team.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Bank reconciliations and day-to-day processing
Preparing and managing creditors and the full debtors function
Supporting the financial accounting function
Key Skills and
Qualifications:
A BCom Degree in Finance or Accounting.
Knowledge of financial legislation, accounting principles, and auditing standards.
Experience in Value-Added Tax (VAT) requirements.
Experience with theXero Accounting Packageis advantageous.
Knowledge ofSimple Payis a plus.
Experience
Required:
At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
Additional Requirements:
Strong computer literacy, particularly in Excel.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
A proactive and detail-oriented mindset.
A willingness tolearn and growwithin the company.
