This role is suited to a detail-oriented finance professional who is eager to develop within a project-driven environment. You will support the finance team with financial reporting, reconciliations, and operational accounting processes while gaining exposure to industries such as engineering, construction, and mining.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with preparation of financial reports and management accounts.
- Perform reconciliations and maintain financial records.
- Support month-end and year-end processes.
- Assist with compliance and financial control procedures.
- Provide support to the finance team on various accounting functions.
Job Experience and Skills
- Education: BCom degree (minimum)
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years’ accounting experience
- Skills: Strong accounting and reconciliation ability
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work within a structured operational environment
- Good communication and organisational skills
Non-negotiables
- Exposure to engineering, construction, or mining environments advantageous
