Responsibilities:
Actively market, sell and grow Food & Bev ingredients to current and new customers in South Africa and Southern Africa, increasing market share.
Grow year on year in terms of volume, revenue and margins.
Identify new market and product opportunities.
Establish multi-level relationships and conduct price negotiations with customers.
Negotiate sales contracts with customers.
Manage customer prices and margins.
Promote company products and image.
Conduct presentations internally and externally.
Drive working platform pipeline and key projects.
Prepare annual sales budget, monthly forecasts, sales reports and quarterly business reviews.
Provide timely reports and information as required by management.
Upload and update customer visit reports and customer details.
Engage in new business development together with Product Managers and Sales Managers and/or NPD.
Assist in the management of working capital within company targets.
Understand and react to changes within the food & beverage industry.
Collaborate with all support functions (business coordinators, internal sales, finance, warehouse) to ensure smooth operation of the business.
Maintain Zero Harm principles across areas of responsibility.
