• Actively market, sell and grow Food & Bev ingredients to current and new customers in South Africa and Southern Africa, increasing market share.
• Growing year on year in terms of volume, revenue and margins.
• Identify new market and product opportunities.
• Multi-level relationships and price negotiations at customers.
• Negotiate sales contracts with customers.
• Management of customer prices and margins.
• Promotion of company products and image.
• Presentations internally and externally.
• Drive working platform pipeline and key projects.
• Prepare annual sales budget, monthly forecasts, sales reports and quarterly business reviews.
• Provides timely reports and information as required by management.
• Upload and update the customer visit reports and customers details.
• New business development together with Product Managers and Sales Managers and/or NPD.
• Assist in management of working capital within company targets.
• Understand and be able to react to changes within the food & beverage industry.
• Work with all support functions (business co-ordinators, internal sales, finance, warehouse) to ensure smooth operation of the business
• Maintenance of Zero Harm principles across areas of responsibility
