Durbanville based company in need of a suitable qualified 3 Phase Installation Electrician. They are seeking a skilled or qualified Electrician to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work, with experience in both single-phase and three-phase systems. You will play a critical role in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting solar energy systems -minimum of 3 – 5 years’ experience.
You will be responsible for the following:
Installation: Perform installation of solar power systems, including mounting and wiring of solar panels, inverters, and other electrical components
Maintenance and Repairs: Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems to ensure optimal performance
Compliance and Safety: Adhere to safety standards and electrical codes, ensuring all installations comply with local regulations
Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers, providing them with detailed explanations of the installation process and system operations
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installations, services performed, and customer interactions
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the project manager and other team members to ensure timely and successful project completion.
Qualifications
N3 equivalent Electrical qualification (NQF 4), Electrician Trade
Must be a qualified electrician with a valid trade tested certification through an accredited institution
Must have a Wireman’s License (3 phase)
Red Seal qualification would be highly adv.
Minimum of 3 – 5 years’ experience within this industry
Licenses: Valid driver’s license & own reliable transport
No criminal record
Must be willing to travel nationally
Skills:
Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical diagrams and blueprints
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Physical Requirements: Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
Training: Willingness to undergo additional training as provided by the company
Excellent communicator, self-driven and be able to lead a team
Willing to work overtime
