Role Description
As the Zonal Head – Risk Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing risk-related operations within the given zone. This full-time, on-site role, based in North-West, South Africa, involves handling market risk, ensuring regulatory compliance, and implementing enterprise risk management practices. The Zonal Head will also analyze financial data, create risk mitigation strategies, and support organizational goals through effective risk governance. Leadership and team collaboration will be essential to drive operational excellence and maintain strong client relationships.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Market Risk and Enterprise Risk Management
- Proficiency in Regulatory Compliance procedures and tools
- Advanced Analytical Skills for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks
- Solid understanding of Finance concepts and practices
- Proven leadership abilities and experience in managing teams
- Strong communication and decision-making skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Risk Management, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus)
- Prior experience in a risk operations or financial services leadership role is highly desirable
