1. Duties, tasks and responsibilities:
Check daily attendance of employees and report to HR
Do daily planning to ensure optimal production in yard
Ensure housekeeping is done on daily basis and that the yard is always tidy and clean
Ensure that all procedures are correctly followed in the yard
Ensure all the stock files are maintained on a daily basis
Received stock from suppliers is correctly and in time recorded in the receiving book.
Submit weekly reports to management
Ensure that all stock is safe and covered in the yards, especially on rainy days.
Ensure that all Health and Safety procedures are followed and that employees are wearing the appropriate PPE every day.
Ensure that all procedures are followed when dispatching, receiving, approving credits, signing off on damages, board cutting and end controlling.
Ensure orders are placed and feedback received for all stock in the yard in time.
Ensure all stock counts are checked and any variances are investigated and dealt with.
Ensure that customer service is up to standard and loading times are kept to a minimum.
Ensure vehicles are loaded timeously for deliveries.
Ensure drivers report back from deliveries on time and optimise the customer deliveries.
Ensure that the yard is safe and secure
Always follow company policies and procedures when executing your duties
Any other job-related duties as per your supervisor or manager
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: R6Â 000,00 – R7Â 000,00 per month
