Yard Driver Jobs in Johnstown, NY at PLA Family of Companies
Location: Johnstown, NY
Pay: $28.50 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday 10:00am to 6:30pm
We are looking for a dependable Yard Driver/Yard Jockey to move trailers and equipment safely and efficiently around our facility. This is a local position with home nights and weekends, with overtime available when needed.
Responsibilities:
Safely move trailers in and out of dock doors and yard locations.
Perform yard checks and keep trailers organized.
Hook and unhook trailers as needed.
Back trailers into dock doors.
Communicate with warehouse and transportation teams to coordinate trailer movements.
Complete required inspections and maintain a safe work environment.
Follow all company safety policies and DOT regulations.
Assist with other yard or transportation duties as needed.
