Position: Xelvin is 6 April to recruit Millwrights who want to work in The Netherlands
Xelvin is looking for > 30 all-around maintenance technicians for the dairy industry. On April 5th and 6th, Xelvin will be in Pretoria with our client. We will meet with technicians, Millwrights, and Red Seal-certified professionals with 3–5 years of maintenance experience.
Service Technician (Millwright)
As our site continuously evolves, our machinery ranges from older equipment to the latest high-tech machines. We are seeking a Service Technician to handle breakdowns across the entire site.
What we ask
A completed Millwright education in a technical field such as Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics, and/or several years of work experience in a similar position.
Affinity with electrical and control systems.
A preference for the dynamic nature of a complex factory environment.
Availability for 5-shift work.
Ability to quickly adapt to various tasks.
Capacity to maintain an overview of multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and act accordingly.
A responsible, decisive, results- and action-oriented mindset. Alongside other service technicians, you are prepared to roll up your sleeves.
Safety and quality are your top priorities. You contribute to optimal plant performance with your technical expertise, minimizing breakdowns and downtime.

This position offers a good salary (€3,376.26 to €4,150.71 based on 36 hours). Your salary will be determined by your experience and qualifications.

Vacancy Description
As a Service Technician, your main focus will be troubleshooting breakdowns and conducting associated analyses, as well as carrying out corrective maintenance. Specific tasks include:
Identifying and analyzing reported breakdowns or deviations in production equipment and determining their root cause.
Assessing the potential impact of the breakdown/deviation in consultation with the production department to assign the correct priority.
Performing corrective maintenance related to breakdowns, guiding and supporting colleagues or external parties involved.
With an analytical mindset, you initiate and implement improvements wherever possible.
You handle the standard troubleshooting tasks as a Service Technician.
You also participate in (improvement) projects to enhance the performance of our factory.
Team Details
At our production site, over 800 colleagues from diverse backgrounds work in various disciplines. Every day, we produce high-quality (sweetened) condensed milk products.
