Position: 1 X Team Leader
The Multi Technician is responsible for the delivery of high quality Rentokil (Pest Control) and Initial (Hygiene and Healthcare) services in line with RI standard operating procedure (SOP) and safe work procedures (SWP) at the required productivity rates. This is to ensure that the client experiences service excellence. The Multi Technician is to provide good customer care fulfilling the customer needs and thereby building the relationship between RISA and the customer, supporting customer retention and portfolio growth.
KEY WORK OUTPUTS & ACCOUNTABILITIES
Provide a high quality Hygiene (Initial) and Pest Control services to ensure that the existing customer base is retained.
Support service planners to plan and coordinate all services.
Achieve productivity standards as set by the company, ensuring allocated and planned work is completed daily.
Appropriately communicate with customers at all levels in the organisation to drive customer relationships and retention by displaying a professional attitude.
Identify customer needs and provide correct solutions.
Comply with the Rentokil Codes of Practice:
Code of conduct.
Complete necessary documentation/service records for client and Rentokil Initial after service is completed.
Advise client on housekeeping, stacking, proofing and other requirements.
Comply with legislation and regulations including Health and Safety and waste management.
Ensure equipment and tools are well maintained at all times, protecting company assets.
Carry an adequate range of pesticides and hygiene equipment, consumables necessary to deliver a high standard of service to the customer.
Ensure the company vehicle and image is protected at all times by driving in line with legislation and RISA expectations.
Ensure company and client Health & Safety requirements are met and that correct personal protective equipment is used as required.
Identify opportunity for future business by passing on leads to sales consultants.
SKILLS and COMPETENCIES
Pest Control and hygiene services knowledge.
Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements.
Customer care skills.
Ability to follow plans to efficiently and effectively perform daily duties.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Matric certificate or equivalent.
Fully qualified (NCPC) or PMA / PCSIB – minimum 12 months experience.
Registered with the Department of Agriculture (P-Number).
H&S Knowledge and experience.
HACCP Experience and Knowledge.
Working at heights experience.
Fumigation Experience.
Unendorsed Valid code 08 driver’s license.
Previous Hygiene and Pest Control experience.
