Take the lead in a workshop that keeps a mixed commercial fleet on the road. This is a succession role, working alongside the current Workshop Manager and preparing to take over full workshop responsibility within two years.
What you’ll bring:
A Diesel Mechanic Trade Test Certificate, Red Seal preferred
8 to 10 years of experience as a diesel mechanic
3 to 5 years in a senior mechanic, foreman or workshop manager role
Strong computer literacy across Excel, Outlook and job card systems
A valid driver’s licence, Code 14 advantageous
Own reliable transport
What you’ll manage:
Daily workshop operations and staff allocation
Preventative maintenance and service planning
Vehicle and trailer breakdowns
Job cards, parts control and supplier management
Location: Alberton, Alberton North
Contract: Permanent, full-time
