Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Boksburg, Johannesburg for a Workshop Manager at Dura Equipment Sales. The Workshop Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily workshop operations, coordinating earthmoving equipment repairs and maintenance, managing workshop staff, ensuring safety and compliance standards are met, and maintaining inventory levels.
Qualifications
4 – 5 Years experience in managing workshops on Earthmoving Equipment.
Trade-tested earthmoving mechanic.
Able to handle above average workload and work in high-pressurized environments.
Must have in-depth technical knowledge about Earthmoving Equipment.
Able to coordinate many different jobs simultaneously.
Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills, with or without diagnostic machinery.
Effectively manage a team and oversee the workshop operations, making sure repairs are performed correctly and with a high-quality standard.
Ensure that detailed and accurate records of work, diagnoses, repairs, parts used, and all other relevant information have been recorded.
Liaising with the parts department regarding required parts.
Strong customer service skills.
