Wiring Harness/Loom Assembler Jobs in Cape Town, Western Cape 7400 at Cords Cable Manufacturers
We are looking for a Wiring Harness/Loom Assembler to join our Manufacturing facility in Brooklyn, Cape Town.
You will assemble and solder wiring harness/loom assemblies according to specifications and quality standards.
Your Duties & Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Cut & Strip wires to length according to specifications.
Fit crimp terminations to various cables using hand and machine tools.
Braid, heat shrink wiring harness/loom assemblies according to specifications.
Tin wires with solder using solder pots.
Fit labels to wiring harness/loom assemblies according to specifications.
Assemble various enclosures with finished harness/loom assemblies.
· Competent candidates must also be knowledgeable in the safe use of a variety of tools and equipment related to their job, such as hand & machine crimping tools, cutters & strippers and heat guns etc.
Requirements:
· 2 years previous experience in the manufacturing environment.
Ability to work with small components and fine wiring.
Experience in wiring harness/loom manufacturing would be advantageous.
Ability to work efficiently, accurately and with a high level of attention to detail.
Excellent hand-eye coordination.
Must also be able to work independently or as part of a team
