Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and passionate Wing Foil Instructor to lead and inspire participants in the exciting sport of wing foiling. As a key member of our aquatic instruction team, you will deliver engaging, safe, and professional lessons that help students of all ages and skill levels develop their wing foiling abilities. Your enthusiasm for water sports, combined with your strong communication skills and safety expertise, will create a motivating environment where learners can thrive and build confidence on the water. Duties
- Lead dynamic wing foiling lessons tailored to various skill levels, from beginners to advanced students
- Ensure the safety of all participants by enforcing safety protocols, including proper use of safety gear and adherence to water safety guidelines
- Conduct thorough assessments of students’ skills and progress, providing constructive feedback to promote improvement
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe instructional area, including equipment setup and maintenance
- Communicate clearly with clients about lesson plans, safety procedures, and progress updates
- Respond promptly to emergencies or incidents by applying first aid, CPR, or AED procedures as needed
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages teamwork, sportsmanship, and fun on the water
Skills
- Proven experience in water sports instruction, particularly wing foiling or related activities such as windsurfing or kiteboarding
- Lifeguard experience with current certification in swimming, CPR, AED operation, and first aid
- Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration
- Experience working with children and diverse age groups in a teaching or coaching capacity
- Knowledge of water safety protocols and behavior management techniques
- Background in sports coaching or physical education instruction is highly desirable
- Familiarity with team leadership roles in sports teams such as soccer, basketball, cheerleading or climbing enhances your ability to motivate learners
- Ability to demonstrate technical skills confidently while ensuring a fun and engaging experience for all participants
- Ability to work off grid and in many weather environments
