Job Purpose
Thepurposeof this position is to undertake and adhere to all reasonable requests. You will also be required to perform any lawful and reasonable instructions given to you by your Supervisor or Manager.
Main Responsibilities
Conduct Wheel Alignment on all PSRG vehicles
Utilise the workshop equipment
Fitment of batteries, brakes, shocks, and exhausts
Mount and demount wheels
Workshop housekeeping
Report all defects on vehicle to line manager
Health & Safety
Follow correct procedures for wheel alignment process
Follow correct procedures for lifting motor vehicles
Utilize correct tools for the job
Always dressed in the correct PPE
Handle tools with care and keep them clean at all times
Ensure work area and yard is always clean
Machines & tools are always stored correctly and safely
Dressing rooms are always presentable and neat
Ensure that no company property gets damaged
Comply with the requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Act
Ensure Personal Protective Equipment and facilities provided by the company are in good and clean working condition
Customer Liaison
Identify all Maintenance Related Problems and report to the Counter Sales/Line Manager
Undertake all reasonable requests and instructions, given verbally or in writing that fall within the parameters of own line of duty
General Responsibilities
Clean the Wheel Alignment equipment daily
Compliance with health and safety procedures on site
Capture Correct Check when required
Education
National Senior Certificate
Merseta Wheel Alignment Technician Qualification or equivalent
Experience
Proficiency in English
Two years fitment centre/workshop experience
