Job Vacancy: Welder/Fabricator – Residential Construction (Broederstroom)
Location: Broederstroom, North West
Salary: R6 500 – R9 000 per month (based on experience)
Position: Full-time, On-site
Site Type: Residential New Builds
Are you a skilled Welder/Fabricator with a passion for quality craftsmanship? We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented individual to join our construction team on a residential site in Broederstroom.
Key Responsibilities:
Fabricate and install gates, balustrades, burglar bars, and steel structures
Work with mild steel, stainless steel, and other metals
Perform on-site installations and ensure structural accuracy and alignment
Operate welding tools and machinery (MIG, TIG, arc welding)
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and fabrication plans
Conduct quality checks to meet safety and design standards
Collaborate with the building team to meet project deadlines
✅ Requirements:
Minimum 3 years’ experience as a welder/fabricator in construction
Strong fabrication skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently on-site
Experience with residential metalwork installations
Must have own transport or reliable travel arrangements
Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying weather
Basic tools and welding equipment (advantageous)

Familiar with construction site safety procedures
