Job Title: Wealth and Pensions Administrator
Location: Cape Town
Salary/Rate: 550,000 – 750,000 | Rand per annum
Start Date: 24/03/2025
Job Type: Contract | 6 month initial contract
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Wealth and Pensions Administrator to join our expanding team in South Africa. This role will commence remotely, transitioning to our new office upon its completion. The successful candidate will manage and administer pension schemes and wealth management services, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and delivering exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day administration of pension funds and wealth management portfolios.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and statutory regulations, keeping abreast of legal changes affecting pension and wealth management.
Develop and maintain policies related to pensions and benefits packages.
Calculate fund performance and value, providing accurate reports to clients and trustees.
Communicate effectively with clients, trustees, and external advisers to resolve queries and provide information.
Prepare pension benefit statements and manage contributions, maintaining accurate financial records.
Assist in the planning and implementation of scheme changes, ensuring smooth transitions and client satisfaction.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, economics, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of pension regulations and wealth management procedures.
Excellent mathematical and analytical skills for calculating benefits and evaluating plan costs.
Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records.
Superior communication skills to liaise with clients and explain complex information clearly.
Proficiency with pension administration software and standard office applications.
Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities, capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
Experience Requirements:
Experience in pension administration, finance, or a related field.
Familiarity with managing pension schemes, updating records, and client communication.
Experience with pension administration software and financial services platforms is advantageous.
