About Us
Quality Electric Service is an electrical contractor based in Murfreesboro, in business since 1972. We do new construction work for national homebuilders and residential service work for homeowners across Middle Tennessee.
The Role
You’ll work alongside our Warehouse Manager keeping materials moving. Subcontractor crews and service technicians pull material packages from our warehouse before heading to job sites. Your job is to make sure those packages are pulled accurately and staged for subcontractor pickup.
It’s hands-on work with a consistent daily rhythm.
What You’ll Do
- Pull and stage material packages for upcoming jobs from takeoff lists
- Handle subcontractor pickups — hand off staged packages, confirm counts, get signatures
- Fill follow-up orders when a crew gets to a site and needs an additional item
- Receive supplier deliveries — count against the packing slip, flag shortages, put it away the same day
- Restock service trucks with standard inventory
- Track inventory — count stock, watch shelf minimums, flag items before we run out
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized — labeled, in its place, floors clear
- Load, unload, and occasionally run material to a supply house or job site
What We’re Looking For
- Reliable and on time
- Careful with counts and able to catch a mistake before material leaves the building
- Able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and be on your feet all day
- Organized enough to work through a list without supervision
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Comfortable using a phone or tablet to log counts and pickups
Helpful, Not Required
- Previous warehouse, supply house, or construction material experience
- Familiarity with electrical material (wire, boxes, breakers, panels, fixtures)
- Conversational Spanish — many of our subcontractor crews speak it
Pay: $18.00 – $30.00 per hour
