Job Purpose:
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods. This role ensures inventory accuracy, staff productivity, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
Allocate and manage warehouse staff to optimize workflow.
Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts to maintain accuracy.
Ensure warehouse layout and storage procedures are efficient and organized.
Enforce health and safety regulations and ensure housekeeping standards are maintained.
Coordinate with logistics and procurement teams for smooth operations.
Identify areas for process improvement and cost efficiency.
Train and mentor warehouse staff and conduct performance evaluations.
Handle incident reports, staff issues, and resolve operational problems as they arise.
Ensure equipment is maintained and safe for use.
Requirements:
Education & Experience:
Grade 12 / Matric (essential)
2+ years of experience in warehouse operations preferential
Skills & Competencies:
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
Ability to lead and motivate a team.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of Zoho is advantageous
Be able to manage a small warehouse team
Do GRVs
Data analysis
Do Bin locations
Stock Management and control
Willing to pack and work with the team if needed
Working Conditions:
Must be able to work in a warehouse environment
May require weekend or overtime work depending on operational needs.

Pay: R15Â 000,00 – R20Â 000,00 per month
