Position: Warehouse / Facility Manager
Overview
Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a highly organized and experienced Warehouse/Facility Manager to oversee the operations of their warehouse and facility in Gauteng. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, overseeing the receiving and shipping of goods, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day operations of the warehouse and facility
Oversee inventory management, including receiving, storing, and shipping of goods
Monitor and track inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels
Implement and maintain effective warehouse processes and systems to maximize efficiency and productivity
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Coordinate with other departments to meet customer demands and deadlines
Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve overall warehouse operations
Train and supervise warehouse staff
Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy of inventory records
Manage facility maintenance and repair activities
Requirements:
Proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager or Facility Manager in a retail environment
Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Strong leadership and communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management software
Knowledge of health and safety regulations
High school diploma or equivalent;
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
Must be able to work extended hours in line with the project requirements
