Position: WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT
Responsibilities
Report any safety hazards, damaged equipment, or product defects to the supervisor or team leader immediately.
Sort and stack inventory, pallets, and containers neatly and safely to maximise storage space and prevent accidents.
Label products and packages correctly with batch numbers, dates, and other required information as per standard operating procedures.
Pick and pack orders accurately according to pick lists, ensuring that the correct items and quantities are selected.
Feed raw materials into production machinery and remove finished products from the line for packing and dispatch.
Assist skilled workers such as mechanics, electricians, or builders by fetching tools, holding materials, and providing general support.
Operate basic machinery and equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and strapping machines after receiving appropriate training.
