Job Description
The Warehouse Assistant II is a qualified forklift operator, is independent and self-directed, has 1-2 years previous warehouse experience and has HVAC product knowledge.
The primary duties of a warehouse assistant include the following: operating a forklift or picker machine, interfacing with customers and maintaining customer relationships, conducting precise physical inventory counts, maintaining damages and quality control, and overall cleanliness of the warehouse.
Key Requirements:
- Forklift Certification preferred
- Independent and self-directed
- WMS Systems experience
- 1-2 years prior warehouse experience
- HVAC product knowledge from prior experience or 20+ hours of in-house training at Habegger.
- Unmatched customer experience skills
- Ability to interface with customers internally and externally
- Safety and Team Oriented
- Positive Attitude
- Maintain a professional appearance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Clean, organize, and maintain all material handling equipment
- Sense of urgency
- Some heavy lifting required
- Mechanical Aptitude
- Desire to grow within the company
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required
