Job Description:
As a Waiter at Bootlegger, you’ll be the face of our in-store experience. Your role is to ensure guests feel welcome, informed, and well-cared for from the moment they walk in. Whether it’s recommending your favorite brew or making sure a table has everything they need, you’ll help deliver the warm, attentive service we’re known for.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and seat customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Take food and beverage orders accurately and promptly.
Provide menu recommendations and offer product knowledge on coffee and meals.
Ensure timely delivery of orders and check in with guests regularly.
Clear tables, reset for new customers, and maintain overall cleanliness of the dining area.
Communicate any customer feedback or issues to management.
Support team members in other duties as needed (e.g. hosting, packing takeaways, basic barista tasks if trained).
Requirements:
Prior experience in a similar role in a café or restaurant is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A passion for great service, coffee culture, and working with people.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team environment.
Flexibility to work shifts including weekends and public holidays.
