A luxury lodge situated in the breathtaking Welgevonden Game Reserve is seeking an experienced Waiter to join its hospitality team. This is an exciting opportunity for a service-driven individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences in a high-end lodge environment.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring guests receive outstanding food and beverage service throughout their stay. The lodge is looking for a professional who understands the expectations of luxury hospitality and takes pride in providing attentive, personalized service. Candidates must have previous 5-star hospitality experience and demonstrate excellent communication, presentation, and guest engagement skills.
The ideal applicant will be confident serving international and local guests, knowledgeable about food and beverage service standards, and capable of maintaining the highest levels of professionalism. A valid driver’s license is essential for this position and candidates must be comfortable working in a luxury bush lodge environment.
This role offers the opportunity to work alongside a dedicated team committed to creating unforgettable guest experiences. Job Requirements & Description
- Deliver exceptional food and beverage service to guests.
- Ensure a seamless and memorable dining experience.
- Maintain high standards of guest service at all times.
- Set up and prepare dining areas before service.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately.
- Serve meals and beverages professionally.
- Assist with guest requests and special requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of service areas.
- Work closely with the kitchen and management teams.
- Uphold luxury hospitality service standards.
- Previous 5-star hospitality experience is essential.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work flexible hospitality hours.
Package
- Salary: R8,000 – R10,000 DOE + Live In
