Video Editor / Videographer
We are looking for a creative and technically skilled Video Editor to join our remote team. You will be responsible for editing and enhancing filmed video content, creating engaging social media videos, and leveraging AI tools to produce innovative video assets. Your work will play a key role in helping our clients tell their stories, build their brands, and engage their audiences online.
Key Responsibilities
Edit and assemble recorded raw footage into polished, high-quality videos for web and social media platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
Create short-form, attention-grabbing social media videos and reels.
Collaborate with our production team to understand project requirements and deliver on creative briefs.
Enhance video content with graphics, animations, captions, sound effects, and music.
Use AI-powered video tools (e.g., Descript, Runway, Adobe AI features) to streamline editing and create innovative content.
Optimise videos for different platforms, ensuring the best quality and user experience.
Maintain consistency with brand guidelines and client requirements.
Stay up to date with the latest trends in video editing, social media, and AI-driven content creation.
Essential Criteria
Proven experience as a video editor, with a strong portfolio of web and social media content.
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and/or After Effects.
Strong sense of visual storytelling, pacing, and audio-visual synchronisation.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
Excellent attention to detail and creativity.
Good communication skills in English.
Desirable Criteria
Experience creating videos specifically for social media platforms (YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, TikTok, etc.).
Animation or motion graphics basic skills.
Experience working with international teams or clients.
Familiarity with video captioning and accessibility best practices.
