Vehicle Sales Executive Jobs in Cape Town at Glasshouse Recruiting
Greet and assist walk-in customers in a professional and friendly manner
Understand customer needs and match them with appropriate pre-owned vehicle options
Conduct vehicle demonstrations and arrange test drives
Accurately explain product features, specifications, warranties, and financing options
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the used vehicle inventory and pricing
Conduct regular follow-ups with prospective and existing clients to build strong client relationships and encourage repeat business
Source used vehicles (trade-ins or outright purchases) when required
Negotiate vehicle prices and terms of sales in line with dealership policies
Accurately complete all sales documentation and contract
Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs
Ensure that vehicles on the floor are well-presented and in a sellable condition
Liaise with the finance and insurance (F&I) department to facilitate customer deals
Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and changes in the motor industry
Ensure compliance with the Motor Industry Ombudsman of South Africa (MIOSA) regulations and the Consumer Protection Act (CPA)
Deliver exceptional customer service during and after the sale
Matric Certificate (minimum requirement)
A valid South African driver’s license
Proven track record in car sales (at least 1–3 years of experience, preferably in used vehicles)
Knowledge of various brands and vehicle specs
Excellent interpersonal and communication skill
Strong negotiation and closing skills
Computer literate (e.g., dealership CRM, MS Office).
Target-driven and self-motivated
Well-groomed and professional appearance
