Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Veeam Backup Administrator to join our team in the City of Cape Town. The role involves managing and maintaining our Veeam Backup & Recovery systems to ensure seamless backup and disaster recovery operations. Responsibilities include implementing and troubleshooting backup solutions, monitoring systems for performance and reliability, and providing technical support to clients. The successful candidate will work on-site as part of a collaborative team dedicated to delivering secure and effective cloud-based services.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Veeam Backup Solutions.
Strong Troubleshooting skills to address and resolve technical issues efficiently
Experience in providing Technical Support and ensuring optimal client satisfaction
Knowledge of Data Domain and other storage solutions is an advantage
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with a team
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
Certifications in Veeam or related technologies are beneficial
