The above vacancy based in Midrand, is hereby advertised and we invite all suitably qualified candidates to apply for this position.

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient management of all finance activities related to the RMI membership/subscriptions within the RMI’s financial parameters.

 

 The scope of the role includes but is not limited to:

Bank Accounts – Entries to be processed daily, Weekly reconciliations, clear reconciling items; obtain bank letters for audit.

Update the debtors account sundry – members & debtors control monthly, verify with RMI Core database.

Raise invoices annually and on demand, reconcile account back to RMI Core; recover debtors.

Meeting fees -Obtain meeting schedules from various stakeholders to check payments against, reconcile meeting schedules back to proposed meeting dates, liaise with staff attending industry meetings to ascertain attendance and use attendance registers; Raise invoices to obtain meeting fees required, Follow up on payments.

Raise invoices according to work completed by RMI4Law partner.

Reconciliation of GL debtor accounts monthly and maintain the Age analysis monthly.

Reconciliation of GL account Automobile Revenue, MIWA auto technician, Automechanika Income & Admin Fee monthly.

Obtain stock counts, process journals for stock movement and follow up on stock discrepancies.

Reconcile the debit order run back to the amount that was processed to the bank account.

Debit order clearing account, Use RMI Core to finalise the debit order run with debit order company; Obtain the debit order company reconciliation and follow up on debit orders that are unmet, Follow up on uncleared amounts, and correct.

Assisting with BEE compliance and follow up with vendors BEE status and update report.

Prepare monthly report for industrial relations services on RMI Core

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

·        Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

·        Understanding of accounting principles, and auditing standards.

·        Ability to work on Database system.

 

Minimum Experience:

 

•            3-5 years of experience in a similar role.

•            Strong proficiency in Excel and general computer literacy.

•            Experience with ACCPAC is an advantage.

•            Strong computer literacy, particularly in Excel.

•            Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

•            Attention to details.

•            A willingness to learn and grow within the company.

•            Ability to work individual and in a team.

•            Good Communication skills.
