Our client, in Sandton is on the hunt for a passionate and experienced Used Car Sales Manager to join their Team.

If you are passionate about leadership within the Automotive sales industry and have experience in the used car retail sector – whether as a top tier sales executive or current sales manager, then this is an incredible opportunity for you!

The used car sales manager drives the sales team to meet targets and KPIs while upholding brand and group standards. This role requires a positive,

hands-on

leader who can motivate and develop a successful team, achieving

sales targets

and KPIs for the used car department within set guidelines and have the drive to meet targets – units, profits,CSI/CCS.

Remuneration:

Market related dependant on experience plus performance-based Incentive – Benefits including Provident Fund, Medical Aid, Company Vehicle and Fuel.

Duties include managing & overseeing

:

Sales

– Develop and implement effective sales plans to stay ahead of competitors to ensure increased market share and pre-owned sales and profitability (1st & 2nd Gross) as per shareholders and manufacturer requirements.

Marketing

– Develop and implement effective marketing strategies for increased

customer interaction

.

Leadership

– Create a team culture where customer experience and excellence is a focus. Motivate, lead, coach the sales team to exceed goals and targets.

Customer Care

– Build and maintain customer relationships by ensuring the highest level of

customer care

,

Pre-Owned Stock Management

– Ensure best stock purchases based on accurate residual values to assist the new car department. Aged

stock management

.

Performance Management

– Coach team where necessary by providing constructive feedback and mutual productivity plans for effective performance. Continue to drive improvement in all aspects of the sales environment.

Financial Management

– Manage total financial and budgeting aspects of the department (Forecasting, OEM, Floorplan, Expenses, Stock holding)

Requirements:

Must have min Automotive Sales Management experience of 3 years+ at a franchise dealership

Experience with in a high-volume brand

Pre-owned sales experience and residual value knowledge

Strong management and leadership skills

Ambitious, Self and Target Driven

Leads Management

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Result Driven

Negotiation and deal closing skills

Problem solving

Marketing knowledge

Must have MS Office and Autobid Experience

Valid Drivers License
