Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Kenilworth. The Unit Manager will oversee daily operations, ensuring seamless service delivery while maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Key responsibilities include managing the kitchen, staff, and service activities; supervising food preparation and presentation; ensuring compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations; managing budgets and financial performance; and fostering client and stakeholder relationships to uphold the company’s commitment to service excellence.
Qualifications
- Leadership and Team Management: Experience in coordinating and motivating teams, conflict resolution, and staff training and development.
- Operational Expertise: Strong background in managing daily operations, including food production, service setup, and quality assurance.
- Compliance and Safety: In-depth knowledge of health, safety, hygiene, and food safety standards, with a commitment to ensuring adherence to regulations.
- Financial Acumen: Proficiency in budgeting, cost control, and achieving key financial metrics for unit performance.
- Client and Stakeholder Engagement: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage client relationships and deliver superior customer service.
- Problem Solving and Organization: Strong organizational and decision-making skills to address operational challenges efficiently.
- Qualifications: A relevant degree or certification in hospitality, catering management, or a related field is preferred. Previous experience in contract catering will be an advantage.
- Flexibility: Ability to adapt to an evolving and fast-paced environment.
