We are urgently looking for an experienced and fully certified UiPath RPA developer to join our client’s growing digital automation team. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 5 years of experience or more, working with the UiPath suite of products.
The successful candidate will work closely with business users, analysts, developers and technical teams to identify automation opportunities, build robust automation workflows and provide ongoing support for deployed bots.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Relevant IT qualification, diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Development or related field
- UiPath certification is highly advantageous
- Must be based in Cape Town or surrounds
- Certified “UiPath Associate Developer” or “Advanced Developer”
- Some travel to customers around the Cape Town area; must have a valid driver’s license and own transport
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- 4–5 years’ experience in RPA development, preferably using UiPath
- Experience with UiPath Studio, UiPath Orchestrator and UiPath Robot
- Experience developing attended and/or unattended automation solutions
- Experience working with business process documentation and automation design documents
- Experience in troubleshooting, debugging and supporting production bots
- Exposure to Agile, Scrum or project-based delivery environments would be advantageous
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Strong UiPath Studio development skills
- Experience with UiPath Orchestrator queues, assets, triggers, schedules and logs
- Knowledge of REFramework or similar automation frameworks
- Proficiency in VB.NET, C#, Python or scripting would be advantageous
- Experience with SQL databases and basic query writing
- Strong Excel automation experience
- Experience automating web, desktop and enterprise applications
- Understanding of APIs, OCR, document understanding or AI-based automation would be beneficial
- Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, Jira or similar tools would be advantageous
