KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee cash collections management.
Lead initiatives
to optimise working capital. Manage cash payment processes. Handle credit risk management. Identify and assess foreign exchange processes and exposures arising from international transactions, investments, and funding. Collaborate closely with global finance, accounting, legal, tax, sales, operations, and procurement teams to align working capital management with business objectives and drive cross-functional process enhancements.
Analyse new and existing investments to ensure effective allocation of working capital and funds. Establish and lead a network of Working Capital team members across the group, ensuring working capital remains a priority for all businesses. Provide
training and development
support to the team. REQUIREMENTS Basic Qualifications & Work Experience CIMA or CA(SA) qualification. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
Key Skills & Competencies Strong understanding of financial principles, cash flow forecasting techniques, and working capital management. Proven experience in working capital management within treasury, finance, or related roles, preferably in a group of companies within supply chain, consumer goods, or investment sectors. Advanced proficiency in financial modelling. Excellent
problem-solving
and analytical abilities. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to foster effective relationships.
