Job Summary
We are searching for a Transportation and Logistics specialist interested in transportation and logistics to support our Transportation team for European shipments. The candidate will manage bookings requests, analyzing the best option possible based on different factors like price, capacity, other existing bookings and working closely with the rest of the team to follow the commercial strategy for a later update of our systems with booking information. The ideal candidate should be dependable, eager to learn, and should have strong attention to detail and customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities
Identity best routing for the execution of our shipments based on product readiness, loading appointments and transportation services availability.
Request and administrate bookings with our transportation vendors and distribute them to the operations team accordingly.
Update and maintain carrier booking spreadsheets.
Email and call transportation carriers to make or follow up on bookings and address daily tactical issues.
Identify opportunities to improve processes and performance. Offer ideas on how to implement positive changes.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong experience in Excel.
Working hours
40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
Education Requirements
Pursuing a degree in Transportation, Logistics, International Business or related field.
1- 2 years’ experience in ocean transportation is a plus
Knowledge of refrigerated transportation preferred.
Candidates with interest in ocean transportation/containers shipments are encouraged to apply
Advanced skills in MS Outlook and Excel

Language Requirements
Candidate is required to read, write, and speak English fluently.
Proficiency in a second language, is preferred.
