We are recruiting on behalf of an established transport and logistics business seeking a highly connected, entrepreneurial Transport Broker.
This role is suited to an experienced transport professional with strong industry relationships, commercial drive and the ability to build a substantial and profitable book of business.
The ideal candidate will be:

Key responsibilities:
• Develop and secure new, profitable freight opportunities.
• Grow revenue and gross profit in line with agreed targets.
• Build and maintain a sustainable portfolio of customers.
• Expand the company’s approved transporter network.
• Manage opportunities from initial enquiry through to successful implementation.
• Prepare quotations, rate schedules, customer proposals and operational documentation.
• Maintain accurate customer and transporter records.
• Manage customer communication and follow-up processes.
Requirements:
• Strong transport industry knowledge and an established network.
• Excellent attention to detail and administrative accuracy.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Good computer literacy, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
• The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
