Overview & Key Responsibilities

The Training Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and managing On-Sites training initiatives including internal and external training requirements.

To ensure all training is planned and scheduled properly according to the training matrix.

Key areas of responsibility for this role include but are not limited to:

Be the first point of contact for all training and development related queries within Onsites.

Plan and coordinate training interventions for Onsites department.

Source relevant training service providers.

Manage relationships with training service providers to supplement training efforts for the business.

Coordinate external training as required by the business.

Construct relevant learning solutions, presentations, and training material.

Update the learning management system with programme information related to training programmes.

Facilitate learning programmes and content, specifically relating to internal safety training, learning management system requirements.

Assisting in onboarding training requirements.

Tracking and monitoring the training and development needs of staff by liaising with Management and HR.

Identify, classify, and manage training and development-related files and documentation, ensuring compliance with record handling and audit requirements for proper maintenance and protection.

Prepare progress reports for all training interventions.

Provide administrative support and respond to queries received by the department.

Analyse the feedback from employees regarding different training programs to identify areas of improvement and implement relevant changes.

Essential Requirements

A National Diploma in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering will be Advantageous.

A minimum of 3 – 5 years’ experience in training environment.

Computer literate in MS Office with a high degree of proficiency in MS Excel and Outlook.
