Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Traffic Control Supervisor to lead and coordinate traffic management efforts at construction sites, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with all relevant regulations. In this vital role, you will oversee traffic control operations for construction projects, manage a team of flaggers and traffic control personnel, and ensure smooth vehicular and pedestrian flow around active work zones. Your expertise in heavy equipment operation, safety protocols, and civil infrastructure projects will be essential to maintaining a secure and productive work environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale highway maintenance, road construction, and utility projects while ensuring adherence to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and inspect traffic control set-ups for conformance with approved traffic control plans, MUTCD guidelines, and local entity requirements.
Conducts pre-worksite inspections.
Provide necessary information to design Traffic Control Plans.
Attend or conduct job site meetings with contractors and engineers.
Ensure that the traffic control system provided is meeting the customer’s needs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
Must have Valid Traffic Control Supervisor Certification Card
2 years of experience working in a Supervisor environment (preferred).
Excellent judgment; strong sense of urgency and unyielding integrity/ethics.
Proven history of honoring commitments.
Proven ability to work well in a cross-functional team environment; team player.
Ability to load and unload equipment from truck independently.
Ability to read, implement and adjust traffic plans; communicate recommendations.
Excellent time management, organizational, and multitasking skills (heavy attention to detail required).
Keep daily work logs on either our tablets or on paper, timesheet tracking, and accurate inventory logs in compliance with contractors, agencies, and company policy.
Ability to conduct oneself in a manner that promotes a professional atmosphere and ensures that the encounter with both internal and external customers is an above-average experience.

Compensation for Federal and State jobs is Wage plus Fringe and paid in full to the employee.
