Job Description:

Join our team as a Traffic Control Supervisor (TCS) and play a critical role in managing traffic control operations for road and highway construction projects in the Northern Colorado and Denver area. Responsibilities:
- Set up, maintain, and remove traffic control devices (cones, signs, barricades) in compliance with MUTCD, federal, state, and local guidelines
- Supervise and coordinate traffic flaggers and team members to ensure safe and efficient work zone operations
- Create, interpret, and implement traffic control plans for construction projects
- Inspect traffic control setups to ensure compliance with safety standards and project requirements
- Communicate effectively with project managers, construction crews, and clients to coordinate traffic management
- Maintain accurate daily logs, including Pre-Job Safety Briefings, Traffic Control Inspections, and incident reports
- Drive company vehicles to transport equipment and team members to and from work sites
- Ensure all team members follow safety protocols and report any safety issues to supervisors
- Provide on-the-job training and mentoring to flaggers and other personnel
Qualifications:
- Valid TCS Certification (ATSSA or CCA required)
- Valid Flagger Certification (ATSSA or CCA preferred)
- 2+ years of traffic control experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role preferred
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (MVR)
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Comfortable standing for 8-12 hours and lifting up to 60 lbs repetitively
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and high-volume traffic environments
- Available to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and on-call shifts
- References are a plus
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
- Work is primarily outdoors, with exposure to inclement weather, dust, asphalt, and high noise levels
- Frequent standing, lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying objects up to 60 lbs
- Requires manual dexterity and multi-limb coordination in fast-paced, safety-critical environments
Compensation Package:
- Competitive hourly pay based on experience
- $1,000 Signing Bonus (after 90 days of active employment)
- Overtime pay
