Traffic Control Foreman Needed ASAP **$23 ph**
Lead Flagger – ATSSA Certified
Pay: Starting at $23/hour
Duration: Up to 6 weeks
Location: Newport News / Hampton Roads area
Labor Finders is looking for an experienced Lead Flagger to oversee a crew of flaggers on a construction project.
The client will be onsite but working in other areas of the project, so the Lead Flagger will be responsible for managing the flagging crew, directing workers, and making sure all traffic-control and safety procedures are followed.
Requirements
- Current ATSSA Flagger Certification required
- Verifiable experience as a flagger
- Experience leading or managing a crew of flaggers
- Strong understanding of traffic-control and safety procedures
- Able to give clear direction and hold crew members accountable
- Very safety-oriented and dependable
- Able to work independently and make sound decisions in the field
- Must be comfortable taking responsibility for the crew
ATSSA Intermediate Certification is a plus!
This is not an entry-level flagger position. We are looking for someone who already has the experience, confidence, and certification necessary to lead a crew.
